Description: The Department of Government at Claremont McKenna College (CMC) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship in American public policy. The position will begin on July 1, 2023. The successful candidate is expected to hold a Ph.D. in political science, public policy, or a closely related field by the time of the appointment.

The successful applicant will teach courses in public policy, American politics, and empirical methods. The teaching load is two courses per semester. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to maintain an active, high quality research program and the highest standards of excellence in teaching.
